The Eerkon have natural inborn drilling capabilities, so they've been forced into slave labor on Ozma 2 by corrupt humans.Profiteer humans colonized their planet many time spans ago and have been illegally mining the planet's rich deposits of lithium and cadmium. These minerals are needed to power the batteries of AI operated processing machinery and spacecraft.
